Please everyone keep a watch out for Winter and help bring her home.

She has been spotted anywhere from Dean Park to the McDonalds on the Pat Bay Hwy.

She is a Blue Merle Mini Aussie (grey and white) and is very timid.

If you see her please call Sally right away on the number below and try to keep her in sight until she arrives. You will most likely not get near her but if you have the time to just sit and let her come to you she might, especially if you have food. Don’t make eye contact with her as that will spook her.

Sally said: “I spoke to a guy tonite, who thinks he may have spotted WInter this morning (June 24) at 11am. Walking north down the middle of Central Saanich Rd, just past the Vantreight farms, where the residential 30 km zone starts. Said he wasn’t sure it was Winter, but it was a black and white dog ( which she probably looks like to people as her grey is very light) and she was “walking funny”, which she does Though that does not seem to be slowing her down much -  she must be doing about 5km circles between Dean park and the McDonalds at Mt Newton and Pat Bay. I am doing the same circles, but so far we have not converged. But she has been there before, as I also spoke with a couple who saw her the night she bolted. He followed her for an hour, but could only get 10 feet from her before she would walk away. He said she was hanging around the same spot on Central Saanich, by the Vantreight farms and their fields……There were 5 of us out there tonite for a few hours, but no luck…..thanks for keeping your eyes peeled, I am less than a day behind her for the first time in 13 days…….my cell # is 250-704-9215.” – Sally
